However, many couples who have an outdoor wedding or even indoor like to have something similar to a chuppah or an arch because it creates a beautiful ambience to the whole wedding theme and its a great way to show your wedding signature.

I like the idea of a Chuppah but any Arches are preferred as they are simple to create and not as expensive as some chuppahs or mandaps!  Having said that though, these are some chuppahs that I found really  gobsmoking ( I mean gobsmacked “wink”)

I am now stuck with it and still scratching my head on what to do with it.So, I decided to have a little homework of searching for a more versatile bridesmaids dress for the modern bride. A dress whose value wouldn’t amount to Nil  just after some hours and only gets you angry everytime you see it because you paid a lot of money for it..

1, Do make sure you buy the right size of suit. Never get it a size bigger!

2, Don’t ever button the last button of your waistcoat or jacket. If you are wearing two button jacket, button the top button, if three button waistcoat or jacket , just button the middle and the top, if you like.

So here goes… my very first Tortilla Chicken Wraps.. This portion can serve 2 or more people if cut in mini sizes

Ingredients:
1 large tortilla wrap
2 teaspoons mayonnaise
Small handful of crunchy lettuce( you can even use spinach)
Roast pork, chicken or beef, shredded
1 small, ripe avocado
Lime juice
One Large Tomato, Green and Red Sweet Peppers
Black or Grounded dry pepper( optional)
Onions.

How To:

In no particular order:

1, I prepared my tortilla ready as instructed in the pack.

2, Cut my ripe( not overripe) avocado into squares and put in a bowl.

3, Slice the tomatoes and removed the watery seed bits-add in the same bowl

4, Slice the Onions,Green and Red Sweet Peppers( whatever shape you like) I like mine in strips- add in bowl

5, Take one or two large leafy and crunchy lettuce and slice in half. you can slice in small pieces but I like mine just in half..:)

I lay the tortilla wrap on a clean flat surface.Then spread the mayonnaise all over it.I, then arrange the lettuce  in the middle of the wrap just away from the edge of the wrap.I throw in the mix of chicken,tomatoes, avocado, sweet peppers and onions, then sprinkle just a tiny bit of black or grounded hot pepper ( I like it  hot) Squeeze in just a tiny bit of lemon juice. I try to keep the fillings away from the edge of the wraps as much as possible.( If you don’t, you will know why when you wrap it!) It would spill!

I carefully fold the wrap and push any stray fillings in until it looks well wrapped. Try to avoid a heavy filling as that could make it difficult to fold without spilling. If you like you can fold one edge of the wrap.

There’s nothing stopping you to create your own fillings..Although this picture is not mine. I achieved something very close to this.

I cut in two and stick a tooth pick right in the middle. On my plate, I serve with sliced cucumbers and olives..

This can be used as an appetizer for your wedding or for a gathering!

Bridesmaids: Dress in Teal holding bouquet in cream or pink
Groomsmen: Suit in slate gray or light gray with shirt in white or stripes and tie in teal or blue.
Groom wears Navy Blue suit,three piece, wedding waistcoat and matching tie can be in silver or ivory. plain white shirt, pocket square can be same colour of tie but boutonnière in pink..
Bride wears a lovely coloured shoe in any of her chosen colour. It is best this matches with grooms tie or boutonnière
Decor : For this Navy Blue, Pinks and Gold can be played around here. Table linen can be in navy blue with napkins in pink and chair sash in pink (using white chair covers or chivari chairs with white seat pad and gold hand) but if you do not wish to use navy blue linen then you get table linen and chair cover in ivory so that the napkin, sash and table vases come in teal. Flowers arrangement in pink..
