So, you have found your dream dress. What’s next? The ideal shoes to finish it off.
There are a few things to consider when choosing your bridal shoes. Here they are:
COMFORT – Your wedding day is a long day. You will be on your feet most of the day so finding shoes that you feel comfortable in is very important. Low heeled shoes or sandals are ideal. Always spend some time walking around the store in them before purchasing them to see how they really feel. Don’t go for style and looks only, as you’ll regret it later on.
STLYE – You want a shoe that really complements your wedding dress and makes you feel fabulous wearing them. Usually, the colour depends on the colour of your wedding dress. If it is white then you need white shoes to match. If your dress is cream then you need cream shoes to match and so forth. Jewels, sparkle, shimmer on bridal shoes can add that extra bit of glamour too. There are so many styles to choose from that it should be easy to find one thats best for you. There are open toed, pointed, sandals, rounded, strappy etc. Have fun trying different ones on.
FABRIC – Satin, leather, lace, velvet, suede, silk – take your pick.
Remember, whatever type and style of shoes you end up choosing, you will need to wear them in before the big day. Walk around the house in them a few days before the wedding so that you find them easy and comfortable to wear. You want to walk with ease on your wedding day and avoid sore and blistered feet, especially when you are up on the dance floor at the end of the day!
All these small details do really add to having that perfect wedding day you dream of.

Thanks for this. often it can be tough to choose the best bridal shoes. Many times women will go for good looking shoes. But also they need to keep in mind about their comfort. Wearing an uncomfortable pair of shoes can ruin a woman’s best day, isn’t it?

Definitely! who is the bride that goes for style rather than comfort on her wedding day? That bride will find herself to blame except ofcourse, you change to a flat, intermittently during the whole ceremony.
